What is your coin's date, assuming it's a Jefferson nickel and the date is visible? If it's a 2004 or earlier, it could be worth in the $3 to $5 range depending on how off-center it is.

If it is a 2005 nickel it may not be an error at all. The design was changed and is *intentionally* off-center. I posted a link below. There has been a lot of confusion over the new image because it is so different and modernistic.

P.S. to clear up terminology, the word normally used for how coins are made is "struck" or "minted", rather than "stamped".

: I have a nickel that looks like the stamp was off-center when it was made. Only half of the stamp is there. Email me and I will send pics. Could it be worth something?
