Unfortunately that's doubtful within our lifetime. So many pre-euro coins were held as future collectibles, keepsakes, etc. that they're not likely to increase in value any time soon.
Not to say that it should be disposed of, since it's a pretty neat memento. After all, not that many countries have issued coins with Braille markings. However saving them is not a way to get rich in the near future.
: I actually have two of these coins myself. i have looked all over the internet to find the value of it. in my own summary, it is almost worthless to the italian republic, mainly because the lira is no longer used. but if you hold onto it for long enough, i'm sure the value will increase. remember, they don't use this currency anymore-not since the late 1900's. it will soon be like the US's 2 cent peice. very valuble. i hope that helps!
