Please understand that I'm not trying to be snide, but if you've collected for many years you should be aware of the existence of magician's coins. Search(*) the other posts on this site for info on how these novelty items are created. They are not mint errors and have no numismatic value.

(*) While viewing the message board, press ctrl-F in your browser (either IE or Firefox) and enter a word such as "double" or "two". Leave off the " marks, of course.

: I have collected coins for many years, and on
recently reviewing one of my coin types, I discovered a Bi-centennial Eisenhower dollar that is stamped with a head image (obverse) on both sides. The two sides are not lined up straight. Every other aspect of the coin appears official after close inspection. Does anyone have comments?
