Good grief, Charlie Brown! It's bad enough that the VA delegation got its collective knickers all twisted over the Westward Journey nickels and Illinois is fussed over changes to the cent. Now we have the hyper-faithful worked up about motto placement. Flame me if you will, but IMHO "E Pluribus Unum" is just as important. Why shouldn't IT be moved too? Plus, that'll finish undoing the Mint's efforts to create a cleaner and distinctive layout and make the Presidential dollars look just like every other coin-by-committee that we have in our pockets.

: Apparently there was enough contorversy over the placement of the motto "In God We Trust" on the edge of the presidential dollar coins that from 2009 onward the motto will appear on one of the faces of the coin, presumably the obverse.
