Thank you so much for your help. All the info explained everything. I will be looking for the 1834 N5 and N6 and the 1839 Hd of 36 - 9/6. Since my type collection was completed a while back with the 1796 Bust quarter and Chain cent ( except for the 1796 bust half which I have a copy) all THAT WILL BE remaining are 5 of the 1700 large cents: Its funny, I collect coins from age 7 to 25 then started back up again at 26 years later. 6 YEARS AGO SOME ONE TOLD ME TO CHECK OUT EBAY,AND WHEN I SEEN " COINS" THE "FEVER" TOOK OVER BUT ITS BEEN FUN AND REWARDING. THANKS AGAIN!

attribution guide I mentioned for the 1834 cents can be found here. The title says 1824 but that was because the original poster got the date wrong. I believe I also included N-5 in the wrong group in my last post. It is correct in the attribution thread.

: On 1839 there are five different head types.

: Head of 1838 (Beaded hair cords, no prominent curl where forehead and hair meet. N-2, N-3)

: Petite Head (head of 1840, head tipped forward with point of bust over 8. N-8)

: The Silly Head (prominent curl, bottom right point of bust does not extent past wave of hair. N-4, 9)

: The Booby head ( Same as Silly but point of bust does extend through wave of hair. N-5, 6, 7, 11 - 15)

: And the head of 1836, N-1

: The first four already have dedicated holes in the Dansco. So for the fifth hole you have to decide if you want to duplicate one of the previous ones or go for the head of 1836. Now the head of 1836 is also the 1839/6 overdate, a fairly tough and somewhat costly coin. If you decide to duplicate then I would not duplicate the petite head, it only comes on one variety. With the other three you can have a duplicate type but a still have a different die variety.
