You're paying for overpriced packaging and hyped advertising. The coins are genuine, but they're not nearly so special as the ad implies. They're ordinary circulation coins that are being minted by the billions and that you can get for $1 each (i.e. face value) at most banks. If you like fancy packaging, that's available from hobby shops, etc. for a lot less than what WRME charges.
Companies like WRME are taking advantage of people who aren't knowledgeable about coins and think that because the Presidential dollars are new, they're rare and "rapidly vanishing" (to quote one ad). But say someone were selling Shiny! New! 2008! Dimes! at 50¢ each. Would you buy them, no matter how much hype they were using?
BOTTOM LINE : BUYER BEWARE, BUYER BE AWARE.
