If you paid for your order by credit card you have some leverage. You can file a written notice of dispute with the card's issuing bank, but it has to be within 60 days of the original purchase. Lay out the details with the transaction number and as many names and dates as you can remember so that the bank has a better shot at following the trail. Keep the letter brief and to the point - just the facts, ma'am, as Sgt. Friday used to say. Accusations, rants, etc. may hurt your case.
I've used this procedure a couple of times, once with a defective air conditioner and once with a double bill from a hotel, and charges were refunded in both cases.
: I placed an order and within 2 minutes called and canceled. This company told me my order was canceled but they charged my account this was in march. They said they sent the item which i never recieved and every time i call to have my money refunded i get the same line ok mrs. walden you should get your refund with 5-7 days, i have heard this 7 times and the last time i was told within 72 hours. That time has come and gone and i still have not been refunded the money this company stole from me. Just to let anyone know who would play an order just be aware they will take your money but not give it back. I also want to let others know when you do speak to a manager they will also lie and say they will process your refund and yet customers do not get the money back that was stole from them
