If you search (ctrl-F in IE or Firefox) for "double" or "two" you'll find lots of other similar posts. You have a privately-made novelty item called a magician's coin. In fact, the post right under yours on the main thread is about the same subject.

Ballpark price - a couple of bucks in a novelty shop, but because it's not genuine it's of no interest to coin collectors.

: Hi!! I have a penny that is the normal 'tails' on one side but the other is also 'tails' but is not very clear at all. It also seems to be more concave than the normal side. There's a slight raised ridge on the mis-struck side making the penny appear more thick than normal. What do I have here and what would a ballpark price range be?
