: I have a 2000 South Carolina quarter, on each side of it there is a raised inperfection, but you can see enough of it to know exactly what coin it is. I want to know if this a misprint and the value ?.. Thank You, Connie

It sounds like some has heated the coin with a torch and caused a separation and expansion between the metal layers. (A picture would help) If that is what it is then it has no added value since it is an altered coin.
BTW coins are struck not printed.
