Without more information (size, date, denomination, etc.) it's pretty difficult to determine anything about your coin. There were occasional foreign coins that were intentionally minted(*) with the same design on both sides but it's more likely you have an old version of a magician's coin made from halves of 2 genuine coins (see the other question right after yours!)

(*) FWIW, coins are said to be struck or minted. Bills are printed. I don't make this up, it's just the way the terms are used.


: I have an old one peseta coin (can't see the date) but the kings head is misprinted on both sides of the coin. Anyone have any answers or reasons for this happening and also, would the coin be of any value? Thanks
