I checked a couple of German sites that I use but couldn't find anything either - sammler.com has some listings for pieces from that era but nothing from Prussia, only from Sachsen (Saxony).

You might try posting on CoinPeople.com. They have a lot of members from the EU. Based on the topics covered, some of them have interests going back to the 1600s.

: I have one question about Prussian orts (=ortstaler; = achtzehngroscher). I know they were made from silver, but what about their official weight and finess? Krause says nothing, Google too. I need info on Prussian orts from 16 to 18 century.

: Thanks in advance
