There are two different types of Unc Silver Eagles.
What the mint didn't strike was the 'special' Unc version with the W mint mark. Those and the proofs were sold directly to collectors.
The mint struck lots of 'regular' unc silver eagles in 2009 and the mintage for 2010 is already over 9 million in the first quarter.
However, the mint does discriminate against the little person when it comes to the 'regular' unc silver eagles in that only about a dozen Authorized Buyers can get them directly from the mint. Dealers buy from them and that makes you third in the food chain.
