By mirror image I mean that the letters are reversed, as if you were holding the bill up to a mirror and looking at the letters there.

To explain about proof sets, coins are made as proofs but not bills. Proof coins are specially struck with highly-polished surfaces and stronger details than normal coins. You'd only find an uncirculated bill but not a "proof bill".

The link below will give you some typical auction prices for US bills. Unfortunately most 1935 $1 silver certs aren't very valuable because there are so many of them. Unlike coins whose dates are changed every year, dates on bills refer to what's called the Series rather than the printing date. Before the 1970s series dates on bills were only changed when there was a new design, as opposed to today when a new date is put on a bill whenever a new Treasury Secretary takes office. In fact, $1 bills dated 1935 could have been printed as late as the mid-1960s!

: I dont think that it is a mirror image, but I am not sure what you mean so I could be wrong.it look like, if the bill wasn't as crisp as it is I would say it looks like it got wet (but it didn't) and the ink bleed through. the print of the pyramid is on the same side as it is on the back. But Thank you for your advice i will take it to a coin collector. The bill almost looks like it was from a proof set but just removed for a sale and some one spent it at the store where I got it. Last night at work I got some more lol. 4 silver certificates 1935 and a 1953 silver certificate $5 bill. I'll be checking those as well.

: Thank you for your advice.
