: When is come to coin grading which service is the most reasonable in price and respectfully acknowledged for selling purposes.(PEGS, NGCA, PCI or PCGS) Where in Atlanta, Ga can I get this service performed and would it be worth it. I have many rolls of silver mercury non-circulated dimes, single Kennedy proofs and many more. I am selling & need to get the most
Well you got one of the big 3 grading firms. Look to PCGS, NGC or ANACS to get recognition of your coins.
I think you should consider whether it is worth spending $25 to get a coin graded that will only be worth $100 or less. Forget slabbing the Kennedys unless you can pick out which ones will go 70.
The mercs are another story. There should be some upper grades in original rolls, less so for mixed date rolls.
Now where to get all this done. Have you considered looking up COIN DEALERS in the yellow pages? That would be a good place to start. Atlanta is a very big city and will have many dealers. Call them and see if they are authorized dealers for PCGS or NGC. They should be willing to screen your coins to see which are worth submitting.
Good luck.
