There's unlikely to be any major difference for most dates of either denomination. The days when Denver was a branch mint with lower production numbers ended decades ago. Both mints are churning out large numbers of coins so unless something unusual happens for a particular issue, all of the coins will be extremely common.

BTW, I assume by "new state quarters" you're referring to the current America the Beautiful series that features national monuments, parks, etc. The actual State Quarters series ran from 1999 to 2008.

: I'm wanting to collect the new state quarters. Which is more valuable in the long run: the Denver or Philadelphia mint? Does it matter? What about other coins, such as the Lincoln pennies?
